Another Young Black Man Murdered In Broad Daylight Friday

The Wilmington Police Department is currently investigating a fatal shooting incident that took place Friday evening.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:36 p.m. in the 500 block of South Van Buren Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a 35-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The officers immediately attempted to save the man’s life by performing CPR until rescue crews arrived. The victim was then transported to Christiana Hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation, and the Wilmington Police Department is actively seeking information from the public.
