Cyclist Struck In Ogletown Early Saturday Morning

Newark, DE – At approximately 8:56 on Saturday morning, emergency services responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a bicycle in the 3900 block of Ogletown Stanton Road.

Initial reports from the scene indicated that the bicyclist was struck from behind by a vehicle and was thrown onto the roadway. Crews from the Christiana Fire Company along with New Castle County Paramedics were dispatched to the scene.

The patient was treated at the scene before being transported to Christiana Hospital with undetermined injuries.
