Two Dover Homes Struck By Gunfire

The Dover Police Department is actively investigating a shooting incident that took place on Saturday afternoon, resulting in damage to two occupied homes. At 3:16 p.m., the department received a report of shots fired at Dover Park, located at 1200 White Oak Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered several spent shell casings in the vicinity.

Master Corporal Ryan Schmid, the Public Information Officer for the Dover Police Department, shared details about the ongoing investigation. Officers responded to the scene and began their search for evidence.

Further investigation led officers to discover that two homes in Manchester Square had been struck by bullets. Both homes were occupied at the time, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Despite the evidence collected at the scene, there are currently no leads to release. Schmid encouraged anyone who might have witnessed the incident or has any information to contact the Dover Police Department at (302) 736-7130.
