On Friday evening, emergency responders, including New Castle County paramedics and local law enforcement, were dispatched to the Hillside Pointe Apartments at 2610 Philadelphia Pike in Claymont.
The response followed a report received shortly after 7:30 p.m. regarding a stabbing incident within the apartment complex. Upon arrival, medical personnel reportedly located an individual suffering from a severe stab wound to the face. The injury, reportedly caused by a pair of scissors, required immediate attention at the scene.
Paramedics quickly began administering first aid, stabilizing the victim before transporting them to a nearby hospital for medical care. The condition of the patient has not been publicly disclosed.
