I-495 Rollover Crash Sends One To Hospital Monday

Just after 3:15 Monday morning, rescue crews from the Brandywine Hundred Fire Company, along with members of the Claymont Fire Company and New Castle County paramedics, was dispatched to 495 NB & Edgemoor Road Offramp in Wilmington for reports of a rollover crash.

Crews arriving from the Brandywine Hundred Fire Company reported that one vehicle was upside down upon arrival.

Following an assessment of the situation, the incident commander recalled the Claymont Fire Company and the medics.

One patient, a male in his 30s, was transported to Christiana Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.
