The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit has arrested 25-year-old Marcus Harris in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Millsboro during the early morning hours of June 14, 2025.
According to authorities, the incident took place at approximately 2:00 a.m. when troopers were dispatched to a residence in the 24000 block of Rivers Edge Drive for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, troopers discovered three men with gunshot wounds outside the home. One of the victims, identified as 19-year-old Andree’ Mosley Jr. of Ellendale, Delaware, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two additional victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Marcus Harris, identified by investigators as the suspected shooter, was located inside the residence and taken into custody without incident.
Troopers said that Mosley and the two other men had been at the residence with a female occupant who was known to both Mosley and Harris. An argument reportedly broke out between Mosley and the woman, who requested that Mosley and the other individuals leave the premises. A physical altercation subsequently occurred between Mosley and Harris, during which Harris allegedly shot Mosley and then opened fire on the other two men police said. The woman was not injured.
Following his arrest, Harris was transported to Troop 7, where he was formally charged with Murder First Degree, two counts of Attempt to Commit Murder First Degree, and three counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to the Department of Corrections on a $480,000 cash bond.
