WILMINGTON, Del. — Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning.
At approximately 12:23 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Pleasant Street for a report of a shooting. A 24-year-old female victim was later located after arriving at a hospital. Authorities reported that she was in stable condition.
The case has been assigned to Detective Joran Merced of the Criminal Investigations Division. Police have not released information regarding potential suspects or circumstances surrounding the shooting.
