A 29-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting Friday afternoon in Wilmington.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers responded at approximately 1:49 p.m. to the area of 8th and Adams streets for a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 29-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
The shooting remains under investigation, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
