Newark – Just after 6:30 this evening, Thursday, rescue crews responded to the 800 block of Marrows Road for an injury accident.
First responders found a woman lying in the roadway that appeared to have been struck by a car at the scene.
The woman was alert and conscience as she was loaded into the ambulance for transport. She appeared to be using sign language when
to communicate with the child. The child did not appear to be injured but a man believe to be her father wanted her transported for evaluation.
