The Dover Police Department is investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred on Wednesday night. At approximately 10:38 PM. Police say two suspects approached the East Side Package Store, located at 1018 S. Little Creek Road, Dover, DE, carrying firearms. The suspects attempted to pull the door open, but it was locked. One suspect motioned to the clerk to open the door, but they refused. The suspects fled shortly after in an unknown direction. The suspected were described as two black males, one wearing all black, and the other wearing a white tank top.
