Traffic Stop Leads To Two Arrest, Gun and Marijuana Found

Dover – Dover Police said that a speeding violation led to the arrest of two subjects during a traffic stop Tuesday morning.  Police said that when they stopped Alvin Williams, 21,  for speeding officers could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle.  The passenger, Vincent Walls, 45, provided a false name to police, according to authorities.  When officers searched the vehicle they discovered of a loaded .40 caliber Taurus handgun and 1.3 grams of marijuana, police said. Both subjects were taken into custody without incident.

Alvin Williams was released on $4,000 unsecured bond on for Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon.  Vincent Walls was charged with possession of marijuana, criminal impersonation, and drug paraphernalia.  Bond information is not available for Walls at this time.
