September 30, 2016 – Newark Police are investigating an armed robbery of Sunoco Gas Station, 1106 S. College Ave, that occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. on September 30, 2016.
A white male suspect entered the store and displayed a large fixed-blade knife and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk complied and the suspect then reached into the register, stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled southbound on South College Avenue on foot., according to Newark PD Spokesman Cpl. James Spadola.
