Troopers Arrest Man For Murder

Wilmington  Police said that the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit arrested Tyerin A. Griffin, 35 of Wilmington, on Sunday. Griffin turned himself into detectives at Troop 1 and was charged with Murder 1st Degree, Attempted Murder 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited, according to police. He was arraigned at JP11 and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution without bail.

Delaware State Police Homicide Detectives were actively looking for Griffin after a Friday, April 01, 2016, shooting death of one subject and the wounding of another. The incident occurred at around 12:39 a.m., at the Shades of Blue Bar and Grill located at 3806 Governor Printz Boulevard in Wilmington, according to police
