Month Investigation Yields Heroin and Gun

 

New Castle – During a month long investigation which began in September, detectives from the Drug Control Squad investigated the illegal sale of narcotics on Wildfire Lane, according to New Castle County Spokeswoman Corporal Tracey Duffy.

Duffy said that on Friday, 9/30/2016, morning, investigators from the Drug Control Squad and officers from the Mobile Enforcement Team completed the investigation with the execution of warrants on two homes in the unit block of Wildfire Lane.

Detectives located marijuana in the first home along with a 17-year-old teen that has been charged with drug dealing, said Duffy.

In a search of the second home, detectives located five bundles of heroin (.975 grams), ammunition, a .45 cal handgun and Terrance White, 18, from the unit block of Wildfire Lane.  He was charged with four counts of Drug Dealing, possession of a controlled substance in a Tier I quantity and possession of ammunition by a person prohibited.

The 17-year-old teen was arraigned and released on an unsecured bond. Terrance White was arraigned and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution.
