Dover – Dover Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday, November 13th, 2016 at 1:05 PM. Police said that a 19-year-old man was meeting an acquaintance in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn located at 561 N. DuPont Highway when an unknown suspect approached the driver side of the victim’s vehicle.
That suspect fired at the victim, striking him in the upper leg, and then fled in a silver vehicle. The victim was transported to Bayhealth Kent General for treatment of a broken leg as the result of the gunshot wound.
