Couple Of Winners Rob Grocery Store In Broad Daylight

Wilmington – The New Castle County Police, Criminal Investigation Unit, has released surveillance photographs of two unknown suspects involved in the robbery of Jalisco Mexican Grocery Store Sunday morning.

On Sunday, December 18, 2016 at approximately 10:00 a.m., the New Castle County Police responded to the 1700 block of West Gilpin Drive for the report of a robbery, according to  New Castle County Police Spokeswoman Tracey Duffy.

Duffy said that officers arrived on scene and learned two male suspects entered the store and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. Both men then fled the area in an unknown direction.

Suspect #1 is described as an unknown race male, approximately 6 feet tall, average build, weighing approximately 160-180 lbs. He was last seen wearing dark clothing and was armed with a handgun.

Suspect #2- is described as an unknown race male, approximately 6 feet tall, average build, weighing approximately 160-180 lbs. He was last seen wearing dark clothing boots.
