Man Injured In Serious Motorcycle Crash

Newark – The Delaware State Police are investigating a serious crash involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle which occurred this evening in Newark, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Jeffrey R. Hale.

The initial investigation has determined that the crash occurred at approximately 9:19 p.m.on Old Baltimore Pike at the intersection of Pleasant Valley Road, Newark. As a result of the crash, a male subject has been seriously injured and was transported to the Christiana Hospital. It is unknown if there were any other injuries.

Old Baltimore Pike at the intersection of Pleasant Valley Road and Otts Chapel Road was closed to traffic for a time. The investigation into this crash is in its early stages.
