Newark – Newark Police and Firefighters escorted Santa to the Newark Housing Authority’s annual Toys for Tots party on Tuesday night. Santa arrived on Aetna’s new Quint 7 ladder truck.
Families from around the city were invited to the Newark Housing Authority event. Santa and his first responder helpers handed out toys to dozens of children for more an hour.
After the party Santa and his helpers traveled over to the White Chapel neighborhood where they handed out even more toys.
