Small Town Store Robbed At Gunpoint

Lincoln – Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery of a Lincoln area store that occurred early last night, according to Delaware State Police Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Gary Fournier.

Fournier said that at approximately 7:00 p.m., Sunday December 26, 2016, two male suspects, one armed with an unknown type handgun, entered King’s Market, located at 20639 Fleatown Road. The suspects approached two store employees and demanded cash, said Fournier. The victims complied with the demand and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then exited the store and fled in an unknown direction. The clerks were not injured.

The suspects were described as black males wearing all dark colored clothing and masks

Police ask anyone with information to contact Troop 4 Major Crimes Unit at 302-856-5850. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, via the internet at www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com, or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword “DSP.”
