16-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Crash Near Hockessin This Morning

Hockessin – New Castle County Paramedics were dispatched a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Limestone Road and Papermill Road in Wilmington just before 8:00 a.m. this morning, Tuesday, January 31, 2017, according to New Castle County Spokeswoman Paramedic First Class Yvonne T. Russell.

Russell said that upon arrival Paramedics found a motor vehicle accident, involving two vehicles with significant damage. The patient, a 16 year old male, sustained head, abdomen and leg injuries and was transported to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital via Hockessin Fire Company ambulance accompanied by Paramedics.

The patient is in serious condition at the time of transport, according to Russell.
