17-Year-Old Overturns Vehicle In Hockessin

 

Hockessin – New Castle County Paramedics were dispatched just after 6 p.m. to Brackenville Road near Barley Mill Road for a motor vehicle accident, according to Public Information Officer Yvonne T. Russell.

Russell said that responding Paramedics found a single vehicle overturned on the drivers’ side in the roadway. The patient, a 17 year old female, was able to self-extricate after Hockessin Fire Company stabilized the vehicle, according to Russell.

The patient was treated on scene for left wrist and head injuries and transported to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital by Hockessin Fire Company ambulance.  The patient is in stable condition at the time of transport, according to Russell.
