Milford – On January 4, 2017 officers from the Milford Police Department responded to a residence in the 300 block of Truitt Avenue to a report of a possible burglary in progress, according to Milford Police Spokesman Sgt. Robert Masten.
Masten said that upon arrival officers located Tamar Bolden, 25 of Greenwood, after it was learned that he was allegedly attempting to gain access to the residence through a rear door. Mr. Bolden was unable to gain access to the residence and he was arrested by responding officers.
As Mr. Bolden was attempting to gain access to the residence, he was reportedly advising the victims inside that he had a gun, according to Masten.
Mr. Bolden has been charged with Terroristic Threatening, 3 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Trespass 3rd degree. Mr. Bolden was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #3, where bail was set at $4500.00 unsecured, along with a no contact order with the victims. Mr. Bolden is scheduled to appear at the Justice of Peace Court #7 for an arraignment on March 15, 2017.
