Harrington Man Arrested Aggravated Menacing

Milford – On January 6, 2017 officers from the Milford Police Department responded to a service station in the 200 block of Northeast Front Street following a report of an assault, according to Milford Police Spokesman  Sgt. Robert Masten.

Masten said that after arriving on the scene officers took Kaden Covington, 21 of Harrington, into custody after it was reported that he struck the victim in the head during the incident with his fist and allegedly threatened to strike the victim again with a metal break pad.

The victim received minor injuries as a result of the incident. Mr. Covington, who was taken into custody without incident, has been charged with Aggravated Menacing and Assault 3rd degree. Mr. Covington was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $2000.00 unsecured. Mr. Covington is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on January 13, 2017for a Preliminary Hearing.
