Robbery Suspect Smiles For The Camera

Middletown – On January 12, 2017 Middletown Police responded to the intersection of N. Ramunno Dr. and Ash Blvd for the report of a robbery with a weapon, according to Middletown Police Spokesman Captain Michael J. Iglio.

Iglio said that their investigation revealed a black man wearing a mask exited a vehicle, approached the victim and displayed what is believed to be a firearm and removed the victim’s cellular phone.  

The suspect was identified as Isaiah Dejesus, 18 , of Bear DE, according to Iglio.  Police obtained an arrest warrant for robbery 1st degree and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and took Dejesus into custody, said Iglio.

Police also recovered the mask believed to be used in the incident, according to Iglio.  Dejesus was arraigned via JP Court and received 41,000.00 secured bail. Dejesus was transported to Vaughn Correctional Facility in lieu of posting bail.
