Update: Middletown Shooting Suspects

Middletown – Further investigation from January 5, 2017 revealed this incident involved three motor vehicles: a dark colored sports utility vehicle, a champagne colored sports utility vehicle, and a dark colored sedan with tinted windows, according to Middletown Police Spokesmand Captain Michael J. Iglio.

Iglio said that the champagne sports utility vehicle has been identified as a 2007 GMC Yukon bearing Delaware registration. The dark sedan with tinted windows has been identified as a 2007 Dodge Caliber bearing Delaware registration.

The dark colored sports utility vehicle has not yet been identified. Apparently, all three vehicles were in the area of the parking lot in the shopping center that is close in proximity to the entrance located on Brickmill Road. The driver of the Yukon, is described as a black male approximately 6 feet tall thin build with an afro.

The driver of the Caliber is described as a black male approximately 6 feet tall thin build wearing dark clothing. Apparently, the driver of the Caliber and the driver of the Yukon exited their vehicles and engaged in an altercation involving multiple shots being fired. Both subjects then entered their vehicles and fled the area. During this time, the unidentified dark colored sports utility vehicle fled the area as well.

Middletown – On Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at approximately 3:30 p.m., Middletown officers responded to the parking lot area of the Dove Run Shopping Center, Route. 299, Middletown in reference to a shots fired complaint involving two subjects in motor vehicles, according to Middletown Police Spokesmand Captain Michael J. Iglio.

Iglio said that the shots fired involved two subjects who were in the parking lot of the Dove Run Shopping Center. Both subjects exited their respective vehicle(s) and discharged their firearm(s) at each other, said Iglio.

Both subjects then fled the area in a dark colored sedan with tinted windows and a champagne sports utility vehicle. The subject’s whereabouts are currently unknown.
