Update: Police Release Surveillance Photo Of Robbery Suspects

Felton – Detectives are releasing surveillance photos of the subjects and vehicle involved in the Sunday morning Robbery of the Canterbury Shore Stop, according to Delaware State Police Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Gary Fournier.

robbery-vehicle shore-stop-robbery-01152017-s1Fournier said that the incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. Sunday January 15, 2017, when a male suspect entered the convenience store located at 8953 South DuPont Highway and approached the male employee at the counter armed with an unknown type handgun. The suspect demanded cash and the clerk complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of currency, according to police. The male then fled the business north toward Irish Hill Road. The employee was uninjured in this incident.

The first suspect was described as a black male, 5’09”-5’10” tall, 180-185 lbs., wearing a light colored sweatshirt, blue jeans, and tan shoes . Armed with an unknown type handgun. He is observed exiting a vehicle parked in the parking lot just north of the store before conducting the robbery.

A second subject entered the store just two minutes prior to the robbery and was observed exiting the same vehicle that was parked in the parking lot just nshore-stop-robbery-s2orth of the store. He entered the business and made a purchase before returning to the car. He is depicted in the surveillance photo wearing a black T-shirt, dark pants, and red sneakers

The vehicle the two suspects exited may be a dark colored Ford Fusion with unknown registration.
