Wilmington Man Arrested For June Homicide

Wilmington – After continued investigation by Detective Joseph Bucksner of the Criminal Investigations Division, Don-Qaadir Bey, 28, of Wilmington, was developed as suspect in the June 18, 2016 homicide of Donald Tucker in the 900 block of N. Pine Street, according to Wilmington Police.

Police said that arrest warrants were authorized for the arrest of Don-Qaadir Bey for the charges of Murder in the 1st Degree, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.

On Friday, January 20, 2017 at 7:00 a.m., officers from the Criminal Investigations Division and the United States Marshals Service executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 1900 block of Seneca Road, Wilmington.

Don-Qaadir Bey was located and transported to the William McLaughlin Public Safety Building, 300 N. Walnut Street, Wilmington, Delaware and booked on the above described charges.

Qaadie-Bey is pending arraignment and no bail information is available at this time.
