Harrington – On Friday, February 10, 2017, the Harrington Police Department arrested Timothy J. Yarborough 39, of Harrington after police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in progress, according to Public Information Officer Capt. Earl K. Brode.
Brode said that while on patrol officers responded to a residence in the 200 Block of Commerce Street for a report of a male subject who allededly broke a window and entered into the residence.
Police arrived and contacted the female victim and a witness who were inside the residence, according to Brode. Police determined that Mr. Yarborough broke a window and then entered into the residence and then left prior to the police arriving, said Brode. When the incident occurred there were 3 children in the residence under 12 years old, according to authorities.
Officials said that they also determined that the victim and Mr. Yarborough were in a previous relationship. Police began searching the area but were later contacted by the dispatch center, who reported that Mr. Yarborough was at the Harrington Police Department to turn himself in.
Police took him into custody and processed him. He was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of disorderly conduct. He was arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and was released on $1,750 unsecured bond
