I-495 Rollover Crash Leaves One In Hospital

 

New Castle – On Monday, February 20, 2017, New Castle County Paramedics along with Holloway Terrace and Minquadale Fire Companies were dispatched, at
around 4:30 p.m., for a motor vehicle crash with a rollover on I-495 Southbound at the I-295 Eastbound ramp, according to Yvonne T. Russell, Spokeswoman NCC-PARAMEDICFor The New Castle County Paramedics.

Russell said that upon arrival, County Paramedics found a 23-year-old female patient that had removed herself from her overturned vehicle and was in the care of emergency medical technicians (EMT’s) from the Minquadale Fire Company. The patient had injuries to both her hands.

The patient was treated on scene and transported by Minquadale Fire Company ambulance with County Paramedics to the Christiana Hospital. The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport.
