Man Shot Multiple Times In New Castle

New Castle – Wednesday February 8, 2017 at about 2:00 p.m., County Police were dispatched to the Wawa at 4000 N Dupont Hwy in New Castle, for a shooting, according to New Castle County Police Spokesman JP Piser.

Piser said that arriving officers located a 28-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to his lower body and arm. He was provided first aid on scene and transported to an area hospital via ambulance, His current condition is not available at this time, said Piser.

Detectives responded to the scene and determined that the shooting took place in the 100 block of Parma Avenue, which is just a couple of streets over from the Wawa.
