Middletown Police Charge Man With Drug And Gun Charges

Middletown – On Monday. February 20, 2017, following a lengthy investigation, the Middletown Police Department conducted a search warrant at 121 E. Lockwood St., involving Michael Thomas,

a 23-year-old black male, who was allegedly actively selling and distributing narcotics throughout the town of Middletown, according to Middletown Police Spokesman Captain Michael J. Iglio,

Iglio said that as a result of this search warrant, police recovered two firearms, a fully loaded Smith & Wesson .38 caliber revolver and a double barrel shotgun along with 2028 capsules of suspected heroin weighing approximately 30.42 grams.

Michael Thomas was taken into custody and charged with Possession of a Firearm by person prohibited, Possession of Ammunition by person prohibited, Possession of Heroin Tier 5 Quantity, Possession with Intent to Deliver a controlled substance Tier 4, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Endangering the welfare of a child and Violation of Probation. He was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional facility in lieu of posting bail.
