Milford – The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford welcomes the 2017 Executive Board of Directors. The new Executive Board started 2017 off with a bang!
They have already participated in 3 Ribbon Cuttings, welcomed 13 new members, attended Business Mixers,Sunrise Seminars, and the first ever Economic Development Commission Workforce Development Forum.
The Executive Board was also instrumental in the chamber moving from 411 N. Rehoboth Blvd. to the Windsor Building located at 24 NE Front Street in Downtown Milford this year.
President Cheryl Doucette served as CCGM Vice President in 2016, when she also started her own business called ResourceLink Consulting.
Cheryl is the Chairperson of the CCGM Nominating Committee, and looks forward to serving 2 terms as the chamber president where she plans to develop the Board of Directors as well as have a strategic plan in place after her term expires.
Vice President Darel LaPrade is the Publisher of the Milford Chronicle and the Chairperson of the CCGM Ambassadors. Darel also serves on the CCGM Economic Development Commission.
Alicia Hollis is serving her third term as the Executive Secretary. Alicia is the Director of Community Relations at Kent Sussex Industries (KSI), and is the Riverwalk “Freedom” Festival Duck Dash Co-Chairperson.
Milford M&T Bank Vice President and Senior Branch Manager, Christine Rust, will serve her third term as the CCGM Treasurer. Christine is also the Chairperson of the CCGM Donations & Contributions Committee and volunteers at the annual Riverwalk “Freedom” Festival.
