Milford – On February 19, 2017, at around 11:28 a.m. Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to an armed robbery of a person that occurred in the 100 Block of Montgomery Street, according to Milford Police Spokesman Detective Timothy Maloney.
Maloney said that the investigation revealed that the victim was approached by two suspects from behind. It was alleged that the one of the suspects struck the victim in the face with a black handgun from behind and then demanded money from the victim, according to Maloney.
It was alleged that the suspects rummaged through the victim’s property and person before fleeing from the scene when witnesses began to emerge from their residences, said Maloney. It was determined that the suspects did not take any property from the victim and that the victim did not wish to receive medical treatment for his injuries.
The first suspect was described as a black male in his late teens/early 20s , tall and skinny, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head and black jeans. The first suspect was also in possession of a black handgun, said Maloney.
The second suspect was described as a black male in his late teens/early 20s, Tall and muscular build, wearing a gray mask and gray hooded sweatshirt with hood pulled up over his head.
