Milford Police Seek Public’s Help In Robbery

On Sunday, February 6, 2017 at approximately 10:49 pm, officers from the Milford Police Department responded to Memorial Park to a report of an armed robbery, according to Milford Police Spokesman Sgt. Robert Masten.

Masten said investigation revealed the victim was approached by a black male who demanded he give him all of his money. The suspect then showed the victim what appeared to be his hand gun in his waistband. The victim gave his wallet to the suspect, which contained an undisclosed amount of money, according to Masten.

The suspect then struck the victim once prior to fleeing towards Franklin Street, said Masten. The victim declined any medical treatment following this incident.

The suspect is described as a black male,gray facial hair, 6ft tall, dark brown jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
