Months Of Tree Clearing Along I-95 Begins

Wilmington – Tree Clearing Services on I-95 NB/SB Will Require Lane and Shoulder Closures from the Pennsylvania State Line to the Brandywine River Bridge in Wilmington.

i95The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announced to motorists that their contractor, Kerns Brothers/Davey Company of Wilmington will provide tree clearing services along Delaware’s state maintained right-of-way on I-95 northbound and southbound from the Pennsylvania State Line to Brandywine River Bridge.

Motorists should expect lane and shoulder closures Monday through Friday in this area
9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (I-95 northbound/southbound lane closures)
8 a.m. until 4 p.m. (I-95 northbound/southbound shoulder closures)

The project begins on Wednesday, February 15 until late-May.

DelDOT reminds drivers that construction personnel and equipment will be operating in close proximity to travel lanes and anticipate lane shifts in this vicinity.
