Bear – New Castle County Police have arrested 19-year-old Gregory Wise in connection with a drug investigation in the community of St. Andrews Townhomes, according to police spokesman, J.P. Piser.
Piser said that during the month of January, 2017, County Police Detectives initiated an investigation into a suspect, later identified as Gregory Wise, selling marijuana in the community of St. Andrews Townhomes. Through the investigation, detectives were able to identify Gregory Wise as the suspect and obtain a search warrant for his residence in the unit block of Paisley Street.
On Thursday ,March 16, 2017, police served the search warrant at Gregory Wise’s residence and took him into custody without incident. Upon a search, detectives located approximately 600 grams of marijuana and $2,100 in suspected drug proceeds, according to Piser.
Gregory Wise was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana in a Tier-1 quantity and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned and released on $6,100 unsecured bail.
