Newark – The Newark Police are investigating a reported theft that occurred on March 11, 2017 at approximately 12:13 am at Klondike Kates, 158 E. Main Street, , according to NPD Spokesman Lt. Fred Nelson.
The two victims, a 22-year-old female and a 23-year-old female, reported that they placed a cell phone and their wallets inside of one of their jackets and hung the jacket on a coat rack on the second floor.
When they returned for their items, they found the jacket was missing. They subsequently located the discarded jacket on the first floor, however, $45 in cash, a debit card, and a pink iPhone 7 were missing from the jacket. Surveillance images were later retrieved from showing a subject removing the jacket from the coat rack, said Nelson.
Suspect- male, 18 – 25 years old, with a thin beard
