Man In Serious Condition After Hit-And-Run

Prices Corner – Delaware State Police are currently investigating a serious hit-and-run crash in which a pedestrian was struck that occurred this evening west of Wilmington, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Jeffrey R. Hale.

Hale said that the investigation thus far has determined that the crash occurred at approximately 8:54 p.m. on westbound DE Rt. 2 (Kirkwood Highway) in the area of Greenbank Road, and involves a male pedestrian who was struck by two vehicles.

The first of the two vehicles then fled the scene in a westbound direction on Rt. 2, said Hale. The second vehicle remained at the scene. As a result of the crash, the male pedestrian was removed from the scene and transported to the Christiana Hospital with serious injuries.
