Middletown – Just yards from the the Westown Movies theater parking lot the Middletown Police have found a deceased person in a retention pond located at 819 Middletown-Warwick Road, Middletown, DE. 19709.
New Castle County Dive Team members recovered the deceased subject from the water and searched the retention pond, according to Middletown Police Spokesman Captain Michael Iglio.
The deceased subject is unidentified and has been turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation, said Iglio.
Iglio added that there is no indication of any motor vehicle being involved with this incident. The investigation is on-going.
