Man In Critical After Early Morning Rollover Crash

 

Wilmington – At approximately 12:05 a.m. New Castle County Paramedics and St. Francis Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the intersection of I-95 Southbound and Maryland Avenue for a motor vehicle crash with a report of a rollover, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne T. Russell.

Russell said upon arrival County Paramedics found a two vehicle accident. The patient, 27-year-old male, removed himself from his overturned vehicle. The patient was found in care of emergency medical technicians, (EMT’s) from St. Francis Emergency Medical Services.

The patient suffered neck, back pain and body wide scratches. The patient was transferred to Christiana Hospital via St. Francis Emergency Medical Services ambulance. The patient was in critical condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.
