27-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured In Route 13 Rollover Crash

New Castle – At approximately 4:40 p.m. on Saturday New Castle County Paramedics, Wilmington Manor and Minquadale Fire Companies were dispatched to the 1000 block of DuPont Highway in Wilmington Manor for a motor vehicle crash, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne Russell.

Russell said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found the patient, 27-year-old female, in care of personnel from responding fire companies. The patient suffered injuries to her head and hands. The patient was transported to Christiana Hospital via Wilmington Manor Fire Company ambulance. The patient was in serious condition at the time of transport, said Russell.

Reports from the scene indicate that the vechicle rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels.

Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.
