Wilmington – At about 7:30 p.m. this evening Delaware State Police, along with crews from the Wilmington Fire Department, responded to the area of I-95 SB at W 18th Street for a multi-vehicle accident.
Arriving crews found five vehicles strewn along the roadway with varying degrees of damage. the vehicles and rescue vehicles briefly blocked traffic from getting trough.
Ambulance crews responded to the scene and transported seven patients, including three children, to Wilmington Hospitals with unspecified injuries.
Delaware State Police are currently on scene investigation and clearing the scene.
