Troopers Investigating Motorcycle Accident Rush To Sick Woman’s Aid

Stanton – Just after 4:30 p.m. this afternoon Delaware State Police, Christana Fire Company and New Castle county Paramedics responded to the intersection of Churchmans Road and Geoffrey Road, near Fuddrucker’s, for a report of a motorcycle crash involving a box truck.

Arriving crews found a motorcyclist suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. Witnesses at the scene indicated that the motorcycle slide under the truck at the stop light.  The operator of the motorcycle was transported to Christana Hospital. His passenger was uninjured.

As State Police were cleaning the scene a woman ran across the intersection alerting troopers to a woman suffering from a medical condition. Troopers quickly jumped into action to render aid to the woman.

Recuse crews responded to the scene and transported the woman to the hospital.
