Pharmaceutical Company Struck By Second Arson In As Many Months

Wilmington – The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office has determined that this morning’s building fire in Wilmington is Arson, according to Chief Deputy State Fire Marshal Robert Fox.

Fox said the Talleyville Fire Company responded to the 1800 block of Augustine Cut-Off, the Incyte Building (old Wanamakers) that is under construction for the report of a building fire. Upon arrival the Fire Department found a small fire inside of the building. The building was evacuated and the fire was extinguished.

State Fire Marshal Deputies responded to the scene and determined the fire to be Arson.

This is the second incident at this location. The first incident occurred June 8th where a small fire inside the building that was also determined to be Arson.

There were no injuries reported. Damage is estimated at approximately $5000 dollars.
