Harrington – On August 2, 2017 the Harrington Police Department arrested a brother and sister on drug charges after a traffic stop, according to Harrington Police Spokesman Earl Brode.
Brode said while on patrol at 9:59 am, police conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation, on South DuPont Highway, in the area of Gordon Street. Police then contacted the driver, identified as Elisa D. Baker 31, of Milford and the passenger, her brother, Kevin R. Baker 34, of Felton.
Police conducted a computer check and determined that Ms. Baker was driving with a suspended license, according to Brode. Police were then givens consent to search the vehicle and while conducting the vehicle search police located 18 baggies of Heroin weighing approximately .126 grams and drug paraphernalia, said Brode.
Police took both Mr. and Ms. Baker into custody and they were transported to the Harrington Police Department for processing. Ms. Baker was charged with Conspiracy Third Degree, Subsequent Offense of Possess or Consume a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving with a Suspended or Revoked License. Mr. Baker was charged with Conspiracy Third Degree, Possess or Consume a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 2. Both were released on unsecured bond.
