This story has been updated (Read Here) Route 13 Accident Sends 5 To Hospital, Troopers Update Injuries
Camden – Rescue crews, along with Delaware State Police and DelDOT crews are currently on scene at northbound South DuPont Highway (US13) near Thomas Harmon Drive (Camden Walmart Entrance) for an accident involving a tractor trailer and a car.
It’s not clear how many people have been injured. Reports from the scene indicate that all patients were transported by ambulance, none by air.
No fatalities reported at this time
State Police have issued the following statement.
Camden – The Delaware State Police are currently on the scene of a crash involving a tractor trailer and a car.
The incident occurred around 9:44 a.m. Wednesday August 2, 2017 on northbound South DuPont Highway (US13) near Thomas Harmon Drive (Camden Walmart Entrance). It is unknown what the extent of any injuries are at this time.
US13 northbound is currently closed at Thomas Harmon Drive. US13 southbound is closed at Voshell Mill Road. Commuters should expect delays in the area and find alternate routes of travel.
