Happening Now: Pedestrian Struck, Trooper 4 Rushing To Scene

Update: Patient struck by car traveling approximately 40 mph, hospital readying trauma room.

Update: Trooper 4 cancelled, patient to be transported by ALS (advanced life support) NCC Paramedics.

Claymont – Rescue crews are rushing to the intersection of Harvey Road and Philadelphia Pike for reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

Ground units have called for Trooper 4 and have notify them that they will be utilized. Crews are currently treating the patient while additional units are preparing an LZ (Landing Zone) for Trooper 4.

Trooper 4 is 8 minutes outs.
