Police Identify Man Shot In Lunchtime Shooting

Wilmington – The victim from the 800 block of N. Adams Street homicide investigation on September 02, 2017 is identified as Kaimel Ennals, 20, of Wilmington.

Wilmington –  The shooting victim from today’s shooting incident in 800 block of N. Adams Street has succumbed to his injuries at the Christiana Hospital. The victim has been identified as a 20-year-old man from Wilmington. The victim’s name is name is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. The homicide investigation remains active and ongoing at this hour.

Wilmington – On September 02, 2017 at approximately 1:17 pm, Wilmington Police Officer’s responded to a Shot Spotter notification of gunfire in the 800 block of N. Adams Street. Arriving officer’s located a male victim, approximately 20 years of age in the block suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his upper torso, according to authorities.

Officials said the victim was treated on scene by New Castle County Paramedics and transported to the Christiana Hospital Emergency Room in critical condition. The investigation is in the preliminary stages and ongoing at the time of this release. Updates will be provided as available.
