Wilmington – On Sunday, 08 October 2017, at approximately 2:10 am, Wilmington Police responded to the 500 block of E. 4th Street in reference to a male subject lying on the street, according to police.
Officials said upon their arrival, officers located a 57-year-old man suffering from stab wounds to his torso.
The victim was treated on scene by New Castle County paramedics then transported to the Christiana Hopsital via ambulance where he is currently listed in critical condition.
The suspect is described as a male subject in his 40s.
