Update: Wilmington Police Just Released This ” The Wilmington Police Department, with cooperation from surrounding in-state and out-of-state police agencies, is conducting a search at this hour for a suspect wanted in connection with both a multiple shooting incident early this morning in Edgewood, Maryland and another shooting incident at mid-morning today in the 2800 Block of Northeast Boulevard in Wilmington, Delaware.”
Edgewood, Maryland – Just before 9:00 am this morning a loud argument was heard at Advanced Granite Solutions, located at 2111 Emmorton Park Road, according to police.

Shortly after the argument police began receiving calls for multiple people shot. Police responded within 4 minutes and found three people deceased and two critically wounded.

Police began searching for the suspect, 37-year-old Radee Prince, DOB 1/5/79. Authorities responded to an address on Clinton Street in Elkton but did not find Prince. Delaware State Police were alerted that Prince may be driving black GMC Acadia with Delaware a tag number PC064273

Marylands and Delaware Police are actively searching for Prince.

As part of the on going search Delaware State Police have placed several New Castle County schools and offices on lock down. First State Update has confirmed that several Stanton and Newport area schools and offices have been ordered to lock down.

Officials at several of the locations were told that the suspect lives in the area and out of an abundance of caution the locations were placed on lock down.

Initial reports from the scene indicate that the suspect used a handgun in this morning’s incident. Police said that they’re considering Prince armed and dangerous.

Cecil County Sheriff’s Office, Elkton Police, Maryland State Police and Agents From The ATF have been on scene for most of the day investigating the incident.

 

It’s believed that Prince has an extensive criminal record in Delaware and Maryland.
